May want to restrict access to the peninsula and sensitive environmental areas and mountains for gasoline tankers having 2 tanks. This may slightly increase cost of gasoline but it will significantly increase safety making similar accidents far less likely. That 2nd “back” tanker can “push” the rest of the vehicle out of control and off the road.
given the high price of gasoline that we pay in this state, I can’t imagine that would be a move that politicians would support.
