Public comment period for wasterwater permit fee increase – Skagit County News

The state Department of Ecology has proposed a fee increase for some types of wastewater discharge permits and is accepting public comment on the proposal through Oct. 1. Permits for dairies, concentrated animal feeding operations, aquatic pest control, boatyards, stormwater and large municipal wastewater treatment plants would see an increase of 4.55 percent in 2014 and 4.63 in 2015.
