A few of you have commented that you are getting posts from The Olympic Peninsula Environmental News multiple times a day. You have asked me to stop sending them to you so frequently. However, the problem is one that you can control, not me. Why?
Because the nature of my news blog is that some people may choose to get every post right away and some want it only once a day or week. I do send out a weekly mailing of the posts, which is a separate subscription for people without a WordPress account.
If you are getting multiple emails from me a day, then you have chosen immediate delivery of posts. Here’s how to change the frequency.
On the front page, notice this on the upper left hand side of the page.
Click on the MANAGE link, it should take you to this web page.
NOTICE that you have a list of all the WordPress blogs you follow. Maybe mine is the only one. Choose “Send new posts by email.” and choose the frequency you want them, even turn them OFF if you wish, and rely on my weekly post if you want, by emailing your email address and I’ll put you on it. Or just choose WEEKLY and it will show up on your schedule, not mine.
Hope this helps! You are in control. That’s good!
