  1. Oops. I thought I was posting on the Drakes Bay piece. What I said above pertains to Drakes Bay.

  2. This issue was never about the science, other than the FACT that National Park personnel fabricated data supporting their position and attempted to suppress data detrimental to their position. (I would not be suprised to see criminal prosecution in this case).

    This is really about a romantic ideal of “wilderness” (in an area that has seen intense human occupation and use over the last 10,000 years) vs. sustainable agriculture/aquaculture and the local slow foods movement. It also puts the writing on the wall for the future of sustainable agriculture in the remainder of West Marin. The question really is about human’s place in the environment. Do we belong on planet earth?

    Kevin Lunny should sue and I hope he wins.
