Canadian navy unlikely to be involved in killer whale’s death: investigators

Reseachers say that preliminary findings seem to point to the whale being killed off the mouth of the Columbia and drifting north to Long Beach. It seems highly odd that a whale would be drifting north in a current that seems to usually go south. But perhaps I’m not aware of how the currents work off the mouth of the Columbia.
