  1. I thought that Peter Bahls had a good response in the article regarding the impact on local district revenue – most of the land proposed to be acquired is so unsuitable for development that the assessed values and property tax revenues are very low.

    • I agree Jim. I’ve reviewed the supporting documents from Peter’s organization and they are well thought through. I don’t understand why the county assessor had an issue with. I am assuming he read them, but, maybe not.

  2. Why not tax the shellfish growers who have the most to gain from keeping residential development in check.
