Photos of Octopus catching a sea gull–Times Colonist

Across the Strait from us, a mom out for a stroll with her camera caught a most unusual site. She documented a gull being caught by an octopus. Fascinating!  It reminds me of my wife and I watching an eagle swoop down and take away a baby otter off North Beach two years or so ago. It’s mom had left it on a rock while she dove for oysters. When she returned, it was gone. Quite dramatic.
