US Fish & Wildlife seek public comments on plant climate adaption strategy

Comment Period:  National Fish, Wildlife, and Plants Climate Adaptation Strategy;  Comments due July 1, 2011

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), along with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and other Federal, State, and Tribal partners, are seeking public comments to prepare a draft National Fish, Wildlife, and Plants Climate Adaptation Strategy.  The Strategy will provide methods for reducing negative climate impacts to fish, wildlife, plants, habitats, and our natural resources and will be a tool used to manage lands and natural resources in a changing environment.

Comments are due on or before July 1, 2011.
